Meagan Dick, Osteopathic Practitioner and Massage
Meagan is a Registered Manual Osteopathic Therapist and graduated with an honour role status.
What Is Osteopathic Therapy?
Osteopathy is a type of manual therapy that promotes healing by focusing on the skeleton, joints, muscles, nerves, and connective tissue, and optimizes how they all work together. It is the detection and reversal of mechanical and physiological shifts that occur over time. Gentle movements are used to address issues.
Prior to studying Osteopathy, Meagan was an Emergency Medical Responder for one year and was a Registered Massage Therapist for over ten years in Alberta. She offers massage as part of her services. The “Registered” part of this designation is not recognized by BC, however, so the same great massage treatments are offered, but insurance coverage is not recognized.
Meagan takes great pride in listening to the clients concerns. She supports goals for people wanting to optimize their health. She can improve discomfort, fascial restrictions, lymphatic blockage and visceral (organ) dysfunctions. Megan has HUNDREDS of tools and techniques to bring relief to chronic and acute concerns, she primarily uses her hands to achieve results.
Megan's areas of practice includes:
Prenatal and Postnatal Care
Muscle Energy Techniques
Visceral Manipulation
Lymphatic Drainage
